Job summary

Fugro, a global geo-data specialist, seeks a Regional Information Security Lead to strengthen governance and operations across MEI. You will work with stakeholders to manage information security risks and drive strategic improvements while maintaining data sovereignty and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate across functions on risk treatment, incident response, and supplier assessments, ensuring Fugro’s information assets stay protected and secure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Security, IT, or equivalent.
• 3–8 years of experience in Security Operations and Governance, Risk & Compliance.
• Relevant information security certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information security governance and operations for MEI region.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address security risks and incidents.
• Lead supplier risk assessments and ensure data sovereignty compliance.
• Promote security awareness and drive remediation across the region.
• Ensure alignment with GDPR, ISO27001, and NIST standards.
