Astrea Academy Trust is seeking a Regional Lead Practitioner for History to support our Cambridgeshire secondary schools while continuing to teach. You will work with the Secondary Education Team to deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum and provide expert guidance to staff.

As a Regional Lead Practitioner, you will lead on improving outcomes, mentor colleagues, and contribute to trust-wide initiatives. This role involves on-site meetings at partner schools and active collaboration across Astrea.

Qualifications

• Deep passion for History with a proven impact in secondary settings.
• Experience delivering KS4/KS3 cohorts with high attainment.
• Ability to coach colleagues and support school-wide improvements.

Responsibilities

• Raise achievement in KS4 History by delivering excellent lessons and specialist support.
• Help design and implement an outstanding KS4 curriculum across trust schools.
• Provide subject-specific expertise to the Secondary Curriculum Team.
• Lead on improving scholar outcomes and teaching standards within the trust.
