Job summary

Anchor Hanover Group is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to provide practical support to Housing teams across London, East of England and East Anglia. Based remotely with regular travel, you’ll carry out risk assessments, support CDM compliance, investigate incidents and deliver safety training while guiding managers to maintain safe, compliant operations.

Experience in social housing or care would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH NC or equivalent required.
• Willingness to work towards CDM training.
• Experience with risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical health and safety advice to Location Managers and operational teams.
• Complete planned and risk-based assurance visits.
• Support risk assessments, safe systems of work and local safety arrangements.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, including RIDDOR-reportable incidents.
• Deliver health and safety training and awareness activities.
• Support CDM and construction safety compliance.
• Identify emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
