Job summary

Rise Resourcing represents a regional buyer in the Midlands to lead the next phase of procurement transformation across a multi-site manufacturing group. You will own the regional spend base, shape category strategy from a should-cost and TCO lens, and drive supplier consolidation and dual-sourcing initiatives.

You will report into the Global Procurement Director in a matrix structure, building credibility and a strong team while delivering tangible EBIT and working capital improvements.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience at Head of/Director level in multi-site manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Should-cost and TCO-led category strategy with EBIT or working capital impact.
• Experience establishing SRM and dual-sourcing frameworks.

REGIONAL HEAD OF PROCUREMENT | INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING

A listed, multi-site industrial manufacturer is looking for a Regional Head of Procurement to lead delivery of the next phase of a multi-year procurement transformation.

THE MANDATE

This is a senior, commercially exposed role. You'll own a defined regional spend base, lead category strategy from a should-cost and TCO lens rather than just negotiation, and be the driving force behind supplier consolidation, dual-sourcing, and a maturing SRM framework.

You'll operate in a matrix structure, reporting into the Global Procurement Director, working alongside legacy stakeholders who haven't always had procurement at the table. Building that credibility, and building a capable team around you, is as much the job as the category work itself.

WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE

• Proven leadership at Head of/Director level within a multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment
• Should-cost and TCO-led category strategy, with a demonstrable EBIT or working capital impact
• Experience standing up SRM and dual-sourcing frameworks from a low base of maturity
• D365 or comparable eProcurement platform experience
• A track record of building and developing teams in functions that were underdeveloped when you arrived

LOCATION

UK based with ability to be onsite in Midlands 2 days per week. Some international travel comes with the territory.

PACKAGE

£80,000 base salary plus £8,000 car allowance. Full details discussed directly with shortlisted candidates.
