Job summary

TSR Legal, a leading Welsh law firm, seeks an experienced Private Client solicitor to become Regional Head of Private Client in Cardiff. You will shape strategic direction, oversee services across Cardiff and the wider region, and mentor colleagues to sustain growth.

You will work with an excellent client base on wills, trusts, probate, estate planning and tax matters, building relationships and driving the firm’s regional ambitions through leadership and business development.

Qualifications

• Senior Private Client leadership experience at Partner/Legal Director or Senior Associate level.
• Strong strategic and business development capabilities in Private Client services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and growth of Private Client across Cardiff and the wider region.
• Provide strategic direction and mentor colleagues to drive department success.

The role will involve you playing a pivotal leadership position, overseeing the development and growth of the Private Client offering across Cardiff and the wider region. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of the department, build on an already strong reputation and play a key role in the firm's wider Cardiff strategy.

Working with an excellent client base, you'll be involved in a broad range of high-quality private client work, including wills, trusts, probate, estate administration, inheritance tax planning, succession planning and complex estate matters. Alongside developing your own client relationships, you'll provide strategic direction, mentor and develop colleagues, identify new business opportunities and help drive the continued success of the department.
