Job summary

D R Newitt & Associates in the North East is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across Durham, Cleveland and North Yorkshire in a family-owned foodservice wholesale business.

You will manage a portfolio of foodservice accounts, win new business, build lasting relationships and promote the full range of dairy, bakery, ambient, frozen, fresh and non-food products.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales roles within the food industry.
• Ability to manage and grow a portfolio of customers.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused and growth-driven mindset.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of foodservice accounts for profitable retention and growth.
• Visit existing customers to develop relationships and maximise potential.
• Identify and win new business opportunities within the region.
