Alibaba Cloud in Greater London is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to oversee fire protection systems and safety compliance across sites in the region. You will drive inspection programs, corrective actions, training initiatives, and reporting to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 1 year of experience, knowledge of local fire safety standards, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.
• Major in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Mechatronics, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in fire safety management within a large enterprise or data center.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and inspect fire protection systems and facilities across sites within the assigned region.
• Develop and review regional fire safety inspection checklists, acceptance criteria, and corrective action tracking mechanisms.
• Deliver fire safety training to on-site personnel and organize emergency response drills.
• Monitor and assess the fire safety compliance status of each site and establish compliance records and periodic reporting mechanisms.
• Supervise service providers or operators in conducting fire drills and evaluate drill effectiveness.
