Role Purpose:
This role is in place to assist the company in maximising profitability and minimising expenditure through efficient and effective management of A S Watson’s store estate. To include Savers, Superdrug, 3 and The Perfume Shop together with any future brand acquisitions.
A typical day in this role includes:
- Managing a geographic area of approximately 210 stores across all brands.
- Focusing on lease renewals, repeals (break removals/operations of breaks/lease extensions) and rent reviews, and providing support for ad‑hoc property management issues.
- Ensuring notices are served on time, negotiating deals, instructing solicitors and completing legal agreements.
- Providing input on property strategy for designated brands and recommending actions based on store performance and business needs.
- Managing external agents, liaising with solicitors, building surveyors, finance and accounts teams, and internal property management.
- Ensuring robust rent budgeting and accurate rent runs.
- Supporting acquisitions teams with information required for store relocation/upsize.
- Supporting audit processes to ensure compliance.
- Processing invoices and expense requests in line with company policies.

What you’ll need:
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and at least 3 years post‑qualification experience, ideally in retail property.
- Extensive knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Legislation and retail market trends.
- Strong property network connections.
- Ability to travel within the region and attend meetings when remote working.
- Successful past experience managing multi‑site retail property portfolios of similar scope.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and internal databases.
