Job summary

Astrea Academy Trust is seeking an outstanding Regional Lead Practitioner for English to support our Cambridgeshire Secondary Schools while continuing to teach in the classroom. You will lead high quality English teaching, design curricula, and mentor teachers, all within a knowledge-rich, explicit-instruction framework.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and English subject specialism.
• Proven track record of improving KS4 English outcomes.
• Experience leading curriculum design and school improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Raise achievement in KS4 English by delivering excellent lessons and specialist support.
• Design and implement an exceptional KS4 English curriculum.
• Provide subject-specific curriculum expertise to the Secondary Curriculum Team.
• Lead on improving scholar outcomes and teaching standards across Trust schools.
