Job summary

Circle Health Group Decontamination is seeking a Regional Specialist Engineer to join the Bristol site and travel to Radlett. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a salary up to £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

The position covers maintenance, testing, and validation of decontamination equipment, operates 24/7 with rotating shifts, and requires a recognised apprenticeship and UK maintenance qualifications.

Qualifications

• Completed recognised apprenticeship in relevant base trade.
• B/TEC (HNC/HND) or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret & fault find on a range of complex electrical/mechanical systems.
• Hold the appropriate UK qualifications to carry out maintenance, testing, validation and fault finding on Healthcare Decontamination equipment.
• Health and Safety qualifications or modules or agree to carry out the training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, validation and periodic testing on decontamination equipment per standards.
• Be active in Estates team and support colleagues across engineering services.
• Work on a wide range of equipment and perform weekly/quarterly/annual tests and commissioning per EN/HTM.
• Interpret test results and advise site management on outcomes and follow-up actions.
• Have freedom to ensure validation services are provided and communicate issues to users/line manager.
• Utilise detailed technical information from manufacturer service manuals.
• Carry out investigations and fault finding on decontamination equipment.
• Participate in on-call system.
• Comply with mandatory training.
