Job description

Regional Construction Health and Safety Advisor required to join a Principal Construction Contractor, eliver specialist Health and Safety advice across a range of construction projects.

You will be working on public realm projects across the Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire region, including education, healthcare, leisure, prisons, RAF sites, and more.

Duties will include:
  • Conducting regular audits, inspections and site visits to assess safe and unsafe working conditions and practices, reporting findings and making improvement recommendations.
  • Maintaining Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Promoting and delivering the company s Behavioural Safety Programme.
  • Supporting the effective implementation of CDM, Construction Phase Plans, Environmental Management and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Preparing accident reports and making recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH construction certificate or equivalent qualification.
Experience
  • 2–3 years experience within the construction industry, ideally with a large or Principal Contractor.
  • Experience across the relevant sectors would be desirable.
  • A good practical understanding of the principles of Health and Safety legislation.
