Job summary

Amazon Data Services UK Limited seeks a Regional Commercial Manager to provide cost support and governance for a portfolio of data center construction projects across Europe. You will validate estimates, drive value engineering, manage third-party QS, and lead cost reporting with finance and procurement teams.

In this role you will influence budgets, track performance metrics and ensure timely invoicing and close-out.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Experience with project controls standards and cost management disciplines is preferred.

The Data Center Construction Cost Control (CCC) team is part of a larger, highly creative and passionate team dedicated to deploying our continuously evolving Amazon data center facilities.

The Data Center Construction Cost Control (CCC) team is part of a larger, highly creative and passionate team dedicated to deploying our continuously evolving Amazon data center facilities.

As a Regional Commercial Manager you will be responsible for providing cost support, guidance and recommendations to the Data Centre project delivery team to ensure cost management across a portfolio of fast paced construction projects.

You will be involved in the full life cycle of construction projects while working with motivated experts from design, construction, procurement, finance and legal teams to deliver efficient and innovative data centers.

You will help drive multimillion dollar projects utilizing Amazon's key values including frugality and insist on the highest standards across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland or London, United Kingdom, Or Berlin, Germany Or Zaragoza, Spain.

Key job responsibilities
