Job summary

Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority (HEYCA) seeks an exceptional Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service to lead a high‑performing organisation and translate ambition into visible outcomes for residents and businesses across Hull and East Yorkshire.

You will work closely with the Mayor, Executive Board and partners to shape strategy, mobilise investment, and deliver sustainable growth while maintaining governance and public value.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience at executive or board level.
• Track record delivering transformation, growth or major programmes.
• Experience managing investment programmes, resources or portfolios.
• Ability to work with boards, elected members and senior decision-makers.
• Strong governance and accountability mindset.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Mayor's vision into clear strategies, priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Drive economic growth, investment, infrastructure and place-based development.
• Build an agile, accountable organisation focused on delivery.
