Position Overview
Primary function of the Regional Business Manager AWC is to lead and inspire a team of sales professionals to drive Convatec commercial growth and profitability across the region. Establishing a high performing team with a growth mindset and develop their talent for the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspiring and motivating regional team to adopt a winning mindset and outperform the competition via higher levels of performance
- Driving over-achievement of regional sales target and team member accountability for territory target achievement
- Thorough annual and quarterly regional business planning
- Strong alignment and execution against national strategy
- Supporting regional performance via KOL management
- Driving strong utilization of CRM whilst exceeding call rate expectations
- Acquire, develop and retain best in class talent
- Support upskilling of team via active coaching, min. 3 days per week
- Taking an objective approach to team performance and proactively managing underperformance
- Develop and maintain effective cross-functional relationships and be an active contributor to the broader BU strategy
- Manage annual regional budget
Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent people management and talent development skills
- Excellent communicator able to inspire a team to succeed
- High standards approach delivering 100% sales performance on a consistent basis with a proven track record
- Ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources and through effective decision‑making, planning and implementation delivering superior business results
- Appetite to lead projects and to set your own objectives
- A mix of delivering against both the long and short term business goals
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to network both internally & externally
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Understanding of the structure, strategies and key priorities of the NHS and up-to-date NHS terminology
- Experience of working with a wide range of specialist and culturally diverse people, influencing them to get things done
- Good working IT knowledge (Microsoft software inc. Excel, PPT & Word) & CRM experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Teams etc.)
- English language is mother tongue or at a high proficiency level both written & spoken
