About the Role

We’re expanding our footprint in the Humberside region and are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. Working closely with our well-established Hull branch, you will play a key role in driving sales, building relationships, and supporting clients with technically sound solutions.

Responsibilities

As Business Development Manager, your role is to drive business growth in your area through:

  • Identifying target customers and creating sales opportunities
  • Visiting existing and prospect clients and building positive relationships
  • Liaising with colleagues to develop sales strategies
  • Attending events such as networking, conferences and trade fairs
  • Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
  • Preparing financial projections and delivering sales targets
  • Understanding the full product range and service offerings and creating valued added opportunities with customers
  • Liaising with our technical support division to maximise sales opportunities
Qualifications
  • Experience of hire and sales within the construction or utilities sector and knowledge of survey or technical safety equipment would be preferred
  • A positive, self‑motivated attitude and the ability to work within a fast‑paced team is essential
  • Superb organisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Full clean drivers’ licence – this is a regional road based sales role with an expectation to be on the road 80% of the time
