Ridge & Partners LLP in the United Kingdom is seeking a Regional Bid Team Lead to oversee the deployment and development of bid professionals across offices, supporting technical colleagues to win projects and grow Ridge.

Based in a local office, you will lead bid managers, coordinators and writers, coordinate UK-wide bid effort and drive improvements while role-modeling best practice in a hands-on bid leadership role.

Qualifications

• Understanding and experience of public and/or private sector procurement processes.
• Experience in construction, engineering, property or consultancy would be beneficial.
• Line management experience – supporting the planning, management and development of a team.
• Experience managing complex bid submissions from opportunity identification through to submission.
• Strong project management and organisational skills - with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with a focus on attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate technical information in a clear, persuasive and engaging way.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of successful bidding strategies.
• Strong critical thinking skills – curiosity and the ability to ask questions and constructively challenge.
• The ability to perform well under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Lead a regional bid team including managers, coordinators, writers and designers.
• Manage day-to-day line management and resource planning.
• Coordinate UK-wide bid effort with Pursuits Director.
• Champion best practice and share learnings across region.
• Oversee end-to-end bid process from opportunity identification to submission.
• Provide coaching and value-added support on bids.
• Lead post-submission lessons learnt reviews.
• Join steering group and define common bidding approach.
• Monitor bid performance and drive improvement.
