Regional Asset Manager

Sanctuary provide in-house repairs and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of properties across Sanctuary organisations. £61,311 - £64,538 per year plus company car or car allowance

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm

We have an opportunity for a Regional Asset Manager to join our team, based in London. The main purpose of this role is to define, commission and lead investment programmes undertaking analysis on properties as required, to maximise the Group's financial returns and to ensure the Group's assets are maintained to all statutory and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a team of 5 Senior Asset Surveyors and their direct reports (7 Asset Surveyors)
  • Managing and supporting the team to ensure legal disrepair timelines and obligations are met alongside other work streams
  • Managing the London reinvestment programme and responsible liaising with other depts and colleagues to ensure the Asset function is delivering on its obligations to our customers and the business
  • Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver investment, cyclical and compliance programmes within agreed budgets through effective financial management
Qualifications & Skills
  • To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to Degree, HND or HNC in Surveying, AssocRIC, MRICS CIOB or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
  • Recent experience in undertaking a similar role, including some experience in asset management including planned works
  • Ability to manage several high pressure work streams to a high standard
  • Knowledge of legal disrepair and Asset management processes
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

  • Role salary is £55,555 with an additional policy allowance of £5,755 per annum (rising to £58,479 with an additional policy allowance of £6,058 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
