  • Health & Safety background with a full UK driving licence.

Job Summary

NQA, part of the Kiwa UK Group, is looking for a Regional Assessor based in Nottinghamshire – the North West to deliver accredited assessments via scheduled site visits. You’ll use technical and administrative skills, alongside strong customer service, to ensure quality and compliance. This remote role involves frequent travel. NQA provides accredited certification, training and support services to help customers improve processes, performance and products and services. We have issued over 50,000 certificates to clients in over 90 countries resulting in a yearly revenue of around 100 million Euro.

About the Role
  • Deliver accredited assessments, meeting set annual targets
  • Assess client documented management systems to ensure compliance with recognised accreditation standard including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
  • Perform client management system assessments in a timely manner, in line visit schedules
  • Provide timely and appropriate feedback to clients
  • Prepare and submit visit reports including recommendations regarding the issue and withdrawal of certificates
  • Ensure that assessments, surveillance activities and recertification visits comply with the requirements of NQA’s Management System
  • Comply with Health and Safety Policy and manage business risks
Essential Criteria
  • Knowledge and experience of carrying out audits / assessments in line with ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 requirements
  • Ability to assess against more than one management standard
  • Technical expertise in relevant assessment area
  • Demonstrable knowledge of relevant management standards
  • Health & Safety background
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal and report writing skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A willingness and flexibility to travel both nationally and internationally
Desirable Skills/experience
  • Successfully passed CQI/IRCA recognised lead auditor course for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001
  • Broad knowledge and practical experience of third-party accreditation
  • Current IRCA/IEMA Registration
