Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking a Livestock Manager to lead a beef suckler herd on a North Yorkshire estate. The role focuses on organic, regenerative farming, welfare, and soil health, with a hands-on approach to day-to-day farming operations.

You will work with the Owner and Estate Manager, implement best practices, and contribute to ongoing development while enjoying a three-bedroom property, a company pension, an estate vehicle, and contribution towards mobile phone costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification relevant to the role.
• Legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.

Responsabilités

• Manage and develop the suckler herd, including breeding, calving, youngstock and overall herd performance.
• Oversee livestock health, welfare and day to day husbandry.
• Manage grazing, grassland and forage to support the livestock enterprise.
• Coordinate daily farm operations, contractors and general maintenance.
• Maintain fencing, fields, machinery, vehicles and farm equipment.
• Keep accurate organic, certification and statutory records.
• Support environmental schemes and projects, contributing to the ongoing development of the farm.
