Job summary

Oldham Council, in partnership with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, seeks an accomplished MDC Development & Delivery Manager to drive the establishment of the MDC and oversee investable projects across Oldham Town Centre, SportsTown and Northern Roots.

You will lead priority schemes through development stages, shape business cases, coordinate land and infrastructure, and build strong partnerships with developers and funders.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience of complex property, regeneration or development projects.
• Strong commercial, financial and programme-management capability.
• Ability to work credibly with senior officers, developers, funders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex regeneration projects through development and delivery gateways.
• Maintain project appraisals, cashflows, funding gaps and the MDC capital pipeline.
• Prepare business cases, funding submissions and investment propositions.
• Coordinate land, infrastructure, planning, procurement and partner activity.
• Provide clear programme, risk and performance reporting to senior governance.
