Job summary

Thanet District Council is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive regeneration schemes in Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs. You will lead capital projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure delivery within time, cost and quality targets.

From development to delivery, you will manage stakeholders, procurement, and funding applications while maintaining adherence to council processes and governance. Flexible/hybrid working is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering high‑value regeneration projects on time and within budget.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and complex procurement processes.
• Strong understanding of local government policies, regulations and finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve a programme of regeneration projects.
• Commission and manage construction teams within council frameworks and contracts.
• Identify stakeholders, conduct consultations and negotiate regeneration benefits.
• Develop initiation documents, delivery plans and funding applications.
