We currently have an opportunity to join our Refuse team as an HGV Refuse Driver / Loader.


Your role

You will undertake driving and loading duties across waste management roles and functions, in accordance with the service needs. Additionally, you will be conducting and operating vehicles in accordance with the relevant legislation.


You will need to:


  • Demonstrate the ability to control and manage all resources to secure optimum efficiency and high standards of service delivery

  • Be able to effectively communicate with clients, customers, agency organisations and departments, staff workforce and colleagues

  • Be able to work to deadlines

  • Work independently using your own initiative as well as part of a team

  • Hold a Digital Tachograph or Smart Card

  • Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence

  • Hold an HGV Class 2 (Category C licence)

  • Have a Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

  • Hold a professional Diploma Qualification in an appropriate service discipline

  • Hold a NVQ Level 2/3 in the relevant services.
