  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace.

Location: Smethwick

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
  • Friday: 07:30 - 12:30 (early finish)
About the Role

We are seeking Refurb / Assembly Operatives to join our client's growing team in Smethwick. This is a hands‑on role ideal for individuals with an interest in electrical or mechanical assembly. You'll begin with product disassembly and refurbishment / cleaning before receiving full training to carry out electrical and mechanical production work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassembling and returned electrical products and components
  • Cleaning, inspecting, and preparing items for refurbishment
  • Reassembling and wiring electrical units to company standards
  • Following technical drawings and assembly instructions
  • Testing completed assemblies to ensure quality and functionality
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in electrical or mechanical assembly (preferred but not essential)
  • Good understanding of hand tools and basic electrical components
  • Keen eye for detail and quality workmanship
