A local charity in Leeds is looking for Relief Workers to support individuals affected by domestic violence. The role involves maintaining refuge accommodation, answering a 24-hour helpline, and responding to community needs. Candidates must have an understanding of domestic violence issues and be flexible with shifts. Comprehensive training will be provided, enhancing your skill set while making a difference in the community.
£12.60 per hour (Variety of shifts).

Leeds Women’s Aid (LWA) is the largest women’s charitable organisation in Leeds and provides services for victims of domestic violence and abuse, honour‑based violence, forced marriage, trafficking, stalking and harassment and is the lead agency for two consortiums, Leeds Domestic Violence Service and Women & Girls Alliance Leeds.
We are looking for Relief Workers to cover a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends, across our refuges and main office. The successful candidate will help maintain safe and secure refuge accommodation, answer the 24‑hours helpline, and respond to individuals and families in our services.
The closing date for applications is9am on Thursday 27th November 2025with interviews onMonday 8th December 2025.
Successful applicants will completefour full days of structured training19th January to 22nd January 2026, 09 : 00 – 17 : 00 each day. This training will follow a series of shadowing shifts across different sites of our service.
