Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking two part-time Refuge & Dispersed Accommodation Practitioners in Leicester. These roles involve providing compassionate support to individuals affected by domestic abuse, managing safety planning, and liaising with various agencies. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all accommodation is safe, well-maintained, and welcoming.
  • Keep monitoring data and reports accurate and up to date.

Refuge & Dispersed Accommodation Practitioners (Part-Time, 2 Roles)

Leicester | Temp to Perm | £26,421 pro rata | ⏰ 17.5 hrs/week (3 days)

We're looking for two compassionate and experienced practitioners to join our Safe Accommodation team in Leicester. One role is based in a Refuge, and the other supports clients in Dispersed Accommodation. Both positions involve providing practical and emotional support to people affected by domestic abuse, helping them to rebuild their lives in a safe, stable environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support and safety planning for clients
  • Manage referrals and maintain accurate, confidential case records
  • Work closely with housing, health, and welfare agencies
  • Carry out regular property and safety checks
  • Ensure all accommodation is safe, well-maintained, and welcoming
  • Keep monitoring data and reports accurate and up to date
What You'll Bring

Hours: 17.5 per week (Refuge: Mon-Fri / Dispersed: Mon-Wed) — occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Must hold a valid driving licence and pass a DBS check.
