ASDA is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for its Bournemouth/Poole patch. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems, including CO₂ packs, across multiple stores. You’ll diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and complete PPMs during planned visits.

The role requires an NVQ/SVQ in refrigeration, F‑Gas Cat 1, and a full UK driving licence. A structured on-call rota and strong team support are provided.

Qualifications

NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1).
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: Minimum 3-years refrigeration experience on commercial / refrigeration.
Hydrocarbon training (Training will be provided).
CO₂ refrigeration training / certification (Training will be provided).
Electrical Fault Finding / Wiring Reg (18th Edition).
IPAF 3a,b MEWPS training (Training will be provided).

Working Hours: 45 hours per week

OTE of £55K - £60K + £2K Joining bonus (* terms and conditions apply*)

Basic Salary: £51,996.44 per annum (Inclusive of Standby Payment)

This role is for an experienced supermarket refrigeration engineer who wants clear earnings, a defined patch within a well-run contract.

You’ll be working on a major UK supermarket estate, carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across multiple stores. The work is structured, the expectations are clear, and the on‑call rota is planned.
