Mobile Refrigeration Engineer (x2 Positions)

Locations: East Anglia & London

Full-time | Field-Based | UK Travel Required

Make an impact in clean refrigeration technology.

We are hiring two Mobile Refrigeration Engineers to support customers in East Anglia and London. You'll be the face of our service team - diagnosing and repairing refrigeration units quickly and effectively to maximise uptime.

This role will require travel, including occasional nights away, as well as responding to urgent callouts. When not on the road, you'll support engineering and testing activities that help shape innovative, sustainable cooling technology.

What We're Looking For
  • F‑Gas Category 1 qualification
  • Brazing experience (oxy-propane or oxy-acetylene)
  • Competent brazing with copper and silver solder
  • Refrigeration background (cool rooms, HVAC or similar)
  • Electrical & Mechanical engineering skills
  • Valid UK manual driving licenceHappily willing to work long hours, travel extensively, and stay away as needed
Desirable
  • Trailer refrigeration or HVAC diagnostics experience
  • Strong problem-solving for unplanned maintenance
  • Confident communicator with good technical documentation skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work independently under SLA timescales
  • Enthusiastic, "hands-on" approach and a passion for sustainability
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical issues on first visit wherever possible
  • Attend field breakdowns across depot locations, roadside and VMUs
  • Maintain a fully equipped service van and ensure readiness of tools
  • Support engineering teams with testing, investigations, installations and product improvement activities
  • Assist with maintenance of demonstration fleet units
  • Contribute to product launches across the UK and occasionally Europe
