Overview

Position: Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Based in either South Wales, Gloucestershire and Bristol

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Up to £42,000 with door to door travel, van and overtime

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a full-time, permanent position based in either South Wales, Gloucestershire or surrounding areas. This position will be working for a large refrigeration company that provide industrial size portable refrigeration units for manufacturing, pharmaceutical and distribution companies throughout the UK.

The right person for this position will already have a strong working background in refrigeration service, maintenance and breakdown. Strong background on larger commercial refrigeration. Experience with Blast Freezers would be preferred, however training would be given.

This is a mobile position, so we do require a full UK driving licence.

Due to the nature of the clients, all engineers will need to support the engineers outside of the area while on call.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and breakdown repair work on refrigeration equipment, with a focus on larger commercial systems and portable units.
• Work mobilely across the South Wales, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, with travel outside the area as required.
• Provide on-call support as part of a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• F-gas 2079 certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience with large portable refrigeration is a major advantage
• Blast freezer experience is a bonus
• Willingness to travel outside the area when needed
