Refrigeration Engineer – Commercial & Industrial

£40,000 – £47,000

Our client are seeking skilled and experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers with a strong track record in delivering high-quality service. If you have the technical capability and professionalism to support our customers across commercial and industrial environments, we’d like to hear from you.

About the Role

Working from our Ipswich office, you will install, maintain, and service a wide range of refrigeration system's from small commercial units to large industrial plant. You’ll work across East Anglia, with occasional travel further afield.

You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, often working under pressure and independently. Strong communication skills are essential, allowing you to liaise effectively with our office team and clearly update customers on work carried out.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • City & Guilds 2079 Category 1 F‑Gas Certification
  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • Proven experience working on commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems (air conditioning experience beneficial)
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills
Desirable (Not Essential)
  • City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification in Ammonia (NH₃) handling
  • Hydrocarbon refrigeration qualification
