Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Pembroke is seeking experienced Platers for an upcoming major refinery shutdown. Successful candidates will use oxyacetylene equipment for cutting and repairing steel plates, pipes, channels, and brackets. Previous experience in industrial settings, along with a CCNSG card, is essential. This position offers competitive PAYE rates along with additional allowances for lodging and travel.

Qualifications

• Experience working on industrial sites such as power stations, refineries, or steelworks.

Responsibilities

• Use oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate.
• Set out, mark, and cut steel plate.
• Perform repairs on plate, pipe, channel, and bracket.
