Eastcott Referrals in Swindon, a Tier 3 referral hospital, is recruiting Registered Veterinary Nurses across multiple disciplines. The role offers 40 hours per week with weekends on a rotation, and a salary of £33,538 DOE. Training and induction programs are provided to develop specialist skills.

You’ll work with specialist clinicians and experienced nurses to deliver exceptional patient care, while gaining exposure to diverse referral caseloads and continued professional development.

Eastcott Referrals is expanding, and we are looking for passionate Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our friendly, close-knit Tier 3 referral hospital.

• Surgery (soft tissue & orthopaedics)

• ECC & inpatient care
• Dentistry & Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Multidisciplinary nursing team

Whether you are looking to specialise or develop across several areas, you’ll gain exposure to a varied and rewarding referral caseload within a highly supportive team.

The Role

You’ll work alongside specialist clinicians, anaesthetists, and experienced referral nurses to deliver exceptional patient care.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Supporting advanced surgical, medical and diagnostic procedures
• Creating tailored anaesthesia plans and monitoring anaesthesia
• Theatre preparation and surgical assistance
• Patient care and supporting clients

Working pattern:

• 40 hours per week (4 x 10-hour or 5 x 8-hour days), part-time hours considered
• 1 in 8 weekends (with time off in lieu)
• 1 bank holiday per year

About You

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Strong team player with a proactive, positive attitude
• Passion for high standards of patient care
• Interest in referral nursing (any discipline)
• Previous referral experience advantageous but not essential
