Wear Referrals, part of Linnaeus, is seeking a Referral Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for a day position. You will work alongside specialist clinicians in a busy referral hospital, delivering high‑quality nursing care and managing complex referral cases daily.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least one year post-qualification experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide outstanding nursing care to referral inpatients and emergency patients.
• Nurse critically ill patients within the Intensive Care unit.
• Monitor patient health, assess needs and ensure comfort and wellbeing.
• Support patients undergoing sedation, general anaesthesia, diagnostic investigations and surgical procedures.
• Support internal medicine investigations and procedures including endoscopy, imaging and advanced diagnostics.
• Carry out nursing assessments, treatments and clinical monitoring in line with best practice.
• Complete accurate patient records and ensure effective handovers between teams.
• Work with veterinarians, specialists, RVNs and support staff to maintain high standards of care across neurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue, cardiology, anaesthesia and imaging services.
• Communicate compassionately with colleagues and clients.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and support ongoing development of the nursing team.
