A local government authority in Torquay is looking for a part-time Referral Co‑ordinator to join their Placements and Contract Team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and resilient, able to support young people by sourcing appropriate provisions. This role involves effective communication with various professionals and requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines. Ideal candidates should have an understanding of child development and possess excellent communication skills along with the ability to handle a busy workload.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Placements and Contract Team for a part-time (29.6 hours per week) post. We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and resilient Referral Co‑ordinator to source appropriate provisions for our young people. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work to deadlines, and support the team with a varied and busy workload. You will be liaising with professionals both internally and externally, building up knowledge and networks.
This post meets the requirements for an Enhanced Criminal Record Check. This will show spent and unspent convictions and adult cautions which have not been filtered in line with legislation, plus any information held by local Police that is considered relevant to the role.
