Performance Test Manager – Join Ten10’s Expert Consultancy Team

Location: Hybrid (London office + client site travel as required)

The Opportunity

As a Performance Test Manager, you’ll play a key role in defining, delivering, and optimising performance and non-functional testing across the full delivery lifecycle. You will lead and manage performance engineering activities, advise clients on best practice, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure systems meet scalability, resilience, and reliability targets.

Role Responsibilities

• Define performance test strategies, frameworks, and approaches tailored to client needs
• Lead performance test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting activities.
• Own the delivery of non-functional testing across performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity areas.
• Guide and support performance engineering teams across tooling (such as JMeter, K6, OpenText Performance Engineering (LoadRunner)) and monitoring solutions.
• Drive performance environment readiness, data needs, and workload modelling.
• Identify opportunities to enhance performance testing processes, frameworks, and delivery practices.
• Provide coaching, direction, and support to performance testers and consultants.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience designing and leading performance testing strategies and solutions.
• Hands‑on understanding of performance engineering, bottleneck analysis, and workload modelling.
• Expertise with performance testing tools (such as JMeter, K6, OpenText Performance Engineering (LoadRunner))
• Solid experience across non-functional testing methodologies and processes.
• Familiarity with APM tools (such as Dynatrace, Datadog)
• Confident stakeholder and vendor management with excellent communication skills.
• Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
• Proven ability to mentor, guide, and lead performance testing teams.
