Job summary

Northallerton, United Kingdom-based HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers are needed for high-volume temperature-controlled logistics. The role offers 45–50 hours per week with day/evening shifts and 4-on/4-off rotas, with immediate starts after induction.

You will conduct daily pre-trip checks, monitor trailer temperatures, and ensure compliance with EU Hours, WTD, and tachograph rules. Accurate POD sign-offs and delivery manifests are required, with support from a dedicated transport coordinator.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card and no more than 6 minor points.
• No DR/DD/IN endorsements; clean driving record with max 6 points.
• High standards of road safety and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-trip safety inspections.
• Operate reefer trailers for food distribution.
• Log temperature records and POD sign-offs.
• Adhere to EU Drivers’ Hours and WTD requirements.
