Countrystyle Recycling Ltd is seeking a Recycling Operative at their Thames Road / Foots Cray site. This permanent, full-time role involves directing the public in safe waste disposal and ensuring materials are placed for reuse or recycling.

The job requires good communication, the ability to operate site equipment, and strong time management in a busy environment. A safety-conscious, customer-focused approach is essential for daily site operations.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Direct and assist members of the public in disposing waste in designated bunkers or containers.
• Ensure waste is sorted and placed for reuse, recycling or recovery according to site procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe site and keep walkways free of waste, snow and ice.
• Provide courteous service to the public, council staff and visiting contractors.
• Monitor and comply with site permit, waste policies, and safety requirements.
• Report any contamination, incidents, or health & safety breaches to management.
• Wear PPE at all times and follow safety rules while operating at the site.
