Scottish Leather Group in Bridge of Weir seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to sustain reliability and performance across our manufacturing site. You will perform planned, preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement.
Working with the Engineering Manager and Production teams, you will diagnose faults, implement safe repairs, maintain CMMS records, and support KPI reporting.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our manufacturing operation. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and wider production team, you'll carry out planned, preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities across a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, helping minimise downtime, maximise efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll use your technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and proactive approach to keep our plant operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.
You’ll play an essential role in ensuring our manufacturing operation runs safely, efficiently, and reliably. Through high-quality maintenance, rapid fault diagnosis, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, you'll help maximise equipment availability, reduce downtime, and support consistent production performance.
Working closely with Engineering and Production teams, your contribution will directly improve operational efficiency, asset reliability, and the long-term success of the business.
