Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking Recycling Operatives for ad hoc shifts across Northamptonshire. The role involves assisting the public with waste disposal, sorting materials, and guiding customers at multiple sites. You’ll work outdoors, in all weather, with a focus on safety and service.

Shifts are ad hoc, with hours 09:45-16:15, and pay £12.71 per hour. Travel between sites is required, and there are opportunities for ongoing temporary assignments and potential permanency.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Recycling Operatives on behalf of our client to join their growing waste management team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working outdoors, providing great customer service, and making a positive environmental impact.

As our client operates multiple recycling centres across Northamptonshire, you must be willing to travel between sites as required.

About the Role

As a Recycling Operative, your main duties will include:

• Assisting members of the public with waste disposal and recycling
• Ensuring waste is sorted into the correct recycling and waste containers
• Directing site traffic and providing clear guidance to customers
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

Working Hours

• Monday to Sunday
• Ad hoc shifts available
• 09:45 - 16:15

Pay

• £12.71 per hour

What We're Looking For
