Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a General Operative to join a busy Recycling Centre based in Taunton. The role is full-time with an immediate start; you will work 6:15am-2:45pm, Monday to Friday, at £12.71 per hour, and contribute to safe, efficient recycling operations.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Duties include sorting recyclable materials, keeping areas clean and safe, and assisting with loading and unloading, while

• Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, production or recycling environment is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Sort and separate recyclable materials.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support the wider recycling operations team as required.
