Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Material Handler / Recycling Operative based in Witney. You will operate mobile plant machinery to move and sort waste materials, ensuring health, safety and environmental procedures are followed at all times.

Hours are Thursday to Monday, 07:45am - 17:15pm, with a rate of £14.87 per hour. This is a full-time ongoing position with weekly pay and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant machinery is essential.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operating mobile plant machinery safely and efficiently
• Moving and sorting waste materials into the correct waste streams
• Supporting the smooth running of the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC)
• Assisting members of the public with waste disposal queries and providing excellent customer service
• Ensuring the site is kept safe, clean and organised
• Following all site safety procedures and environmental regulations
