Job summary

Cove Parish in Farnborough, Hampshire invites applications for a Rector to lead one church family across two homes. The role focuses on deepening faith beyond numbers, and nurturing worship, mission and community life.

You will encourage every generation, support young people in coming to faith, and take the church to the people by growing our presence in surrounding neighbourhoods, while fostering prayer and sacramental life.

Job description

Cove Parish is one church family with two homes in Farnborough, Hampshire - a large parish with a heart for mission, reflecting Jesus, loving joyfully, inspiring hope.

We are praying for a Rector who will:

• help us grow deeper in faith, not just in numbers
• encourage every generation and support young people in coming to faith
• take the church to the people, growing wider into the neighbourhoods around us
• draw us closer to God through prayer, praise and sacramental life.

We will offer you a:

• parish strong in Bibilical teaching, open to the Spirit
• experienced and united PCC, 6 staff and 114 volunteers and operation of Farnborough Foodbank
• growing children’s and youth ministry
• parish which has adopted the Guildford Clergy Wellbeing Covenant
