Job description

Today, Foundervine stands as one of the largest and most active accelerator ecosystems, successfully designing and delivering business and investment readiness programmes that empower entrepreneurs. Our track record includes collaborations with leading organisations such as Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group, Sainsbury's, Google, and the UK Government.

At Foundervine, you'll be joining a small but dynamic team at a pivotal moment in our mission, creating a collaborative and results-driven culture where every team member plays a meaningful role. Our mission to transform society by making innovation accessible to anyone, anywhere, is what fuels us to deliver our best work every day.

Behind the scenes, we operate with the energy, agility, and expertise of a much larger organisation, despite our lean team size. With a strategic presence in the UK, Ghana and soon in the US, we are deeply connected to our core values: action, impact, inclusion, innovation, courage, and integrity.

A Culture of Support and Development

At Foundervine, we are more than just colleagues, we are a team that genuinely cares about one another. We prioritise well-being, collaboration, and continuous learning ensuring that our team feels valued and empowered. Through regular check-ins, cross-team collaboration, and knowledge-sharing sessions, we create an environment where ideas thrive.

We understand that life happens beyond work, which is why we strive to provide flexibility, especially where it's most needed, ensuring that no one has to choose between professional success and personal well-being. At Foundervine, we don't just focus on what we're building, we focus on how we build it and who we build it with. You're not just an employee, you're part of something bigger!

The Role

The Recruitment & Talent Lead will play a key role in shaping how Foundervine and the organisations we support build strong teams. Working closely with the People & HR Manager and leadership teams, you will lead end-to-end recruitment across Foundervine and Canopy (Our strategic HR and recruitment delivery partner built to support founders and mission-led organisations in building strong teams from the ground up), managing multiple hiring pipelines while ensuring recruitment processes are structured, efficient, and high quality.

This role combines hands-on recruitment delivery with operational thinking. You will partner with founders and hiring managers to identify talent needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and introduce systems and tools that improve hiring outcomes.

It is an ideal role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys working with multiple stakeholders, and takes ownership of building effective recruitment practices that enable organisations to grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for Foundervine and organisations supported through Canopy, from role definition to offer stage.
  • Partner with founders, hiring managers, and leadership teams to understand hiring needs and design effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source and engage high-quality candidates across multiple sectors, building strong and diverse talent pipelines.
  • Manage candidate screening, interviews, and hiring processes to ensure structured, fair, and efficient decision-making.
  • Build and improve recruitment systems, workflows, and tools to increase hiring efficiency and scalability.
  • Provide insights on talent markets, compensation expectations, and hiring timelines to support informed hiring decisions.
  • Track recruitment performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience that reflects Foundervine's values and professionalism.
Qualifications and Key Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple roles or organisations
  • Experience working closely with founders, leadership teams, or hiring managers
  • Ability to independently manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Experience using ATS systems and recruitment technology platforms
  • Confidence sourcing and engaging candidates proactively
  • Ability to communicate clearly and build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Strong judgment when assessing candidate fit and hiring decisions
