Overview

Are you a recruiter who thrives in high-volume environments and understands the unique challenges of sourcing skilled technicians in aerospace and defence?

Expleo UK is looking for a proactive, network-savvy recruiter to join our internal talent team. This is a high-impact role where your sourcing creativity and industry insight will directly contribute to the growth of a critical account.

Responsibilities
  • Source, screen, and interview blue‑collar candidates for technician and skilled trade roles within aerospace and defence
  • Build and maintain warm talent pipelines for ongoing and future hiring needs
  • Partner with onsite security and operations teams to coordinate onboarding and site access
  • Use innovative sourcing techniques including social media, job boards, referrals, and local outreach
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with hiring processes and security protocols
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast hiring needs and support workforce planning
  • Represent Expleo UK professionally onsite and ensure a positive candidate experience
Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Stevenage talent market and local sourcing channels
Experience
  • Proven experience recruiting for blue‑collar or technician roles (ideally within aerospace, defence, engineering, or manufacturing)
  • Experience working within an internal recruitment function
  • Experience using ATS systems and recruitment CRMs
  • Understanding of the nuances of recruiting in aerospace or defence environments (e.g., security clearance, compliance, niche skill sets)
  • Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with candidates and teams
