Job summary

Coba Education in Northampton is seeking a proactive Recruitment Consultant to build relationships with schools across the county, manage end-to-end recruitment and help place teachers and support staff.

You’ll work a fast-paced, target-driven day, with full training, uncapped commission and clear progression opportunities as you develop your recruitment career with an approachable, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).

Responsibilities

• Building and nurturing relationships with schools, including Cover Managers, and Headteachers.
• Proactively making calls to generate new business and arrange client meetings.
• Identifying and developing new leads into active opportunities.
• Matching candidates to school requirements and delivering excellent service.
• Managing the full recruitment process from sourcing to placement.
• Supporting candidate registrations, interviews, and onboarding.
• Ensuring all safeguarding and compliance checks are completed (DBS, references, UK ENIC where required).
• Working towards and exceeding weekly targets.

At Coba Education, we’re looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our growing Northampton team. You’ll step into a warm desk with established school partnerships across Northamptonshire, giving you the perfect platform to succeed from day one.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll be responsible for managing, growing and building new relationships with schools across the county, supporting them with their staffing needs across daily supply, long-term, and permanent roles. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and nurturing relationships with schools, including Cover Managers, and Headteachers
• Proactively making calls to generate new business and arrange client meetings
