Aspiring Recruitment Consultant - Entry Level

We are currently searching for a highly ambitious, sales‑driven individual to join our Belfast office. We'll offer a complete training programme to help you become an expert IT Recruitment Consultant and provide the opportunity to take ownership of your own IT Recruitment market, which you will develop over time.

Our IT Recruitment Consultant role

Recruitment is sales driven and involves building relationships with clients and candidates. We're looking for hard working, driven, motivated and resilient people to join our fast‑growing and highly motivated team in Belfast. No prior recruitment experience is required – just the hunger to succeed.

Your Responsibilities

• Use your personality to build long‑lasting relationships with both clients and candidates, while providing a bespoke and professional service.
• Headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work.
• Using business development techniques, grow an impressive portfolio of clients eager to utilise your skills as a niche IT Recruitment Consultant.
• Identify, approach and source potential candidates through a variety of attraction methods as part of the end‑to‑end recruitment cycle.
• Build your client and candidate base by attending networking events.
• Act as the “go‑to” in your business area, developing specialist knowledge of your market.

Desirable skills and experience

• A sales background is highly desirable for this position (6 months customer or client facing experience).
• Must have a track record of success.
• Ability or determination to influence people and negotiate with different stakeholders.
• Credible and confident to deal at senior level with clients and candidates.

Package

• Competitive salary and bonuses, industry leading commission (up to 35% of your monthly billing) which is completely uncapped.
• First year OTE = £30,000 - £40,000, second year OTE £40,000 - £60,000+.
