Temporary Internal Recruitment Coordinator

Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Pay: 1520 per hour Doe

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Temporary 4-8 weeks approx.

About the Role

polkadotfrog are delighted to be recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Internal Recruitment Co-ordinator to support a leading construction business based in Suffolk.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day people support while also managing the internal recruitment process, ensuring the business continues to attract, onboard, and retain great talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand resourcing needs
  • Write and post job adverts across multiple platforms
  • Liaise with partner agencies, briefing roles and collating applications
  • Screen and shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate the hiring process
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics
  • Assist with onboarding and induction for new starters
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends to support retention
