About the Role

Help us find our future leaders. We are seeking a recruiter to support our services in Surrey and Hampshire.

Based in Eastleigh or Surrey. Full time: 40 hours per week - Hybrid. Some travel will be required.

We have a large presence in Hampshire, Southampton, Surrey and North Hampshire providing support to both children and adults with learning disabilities. Our recruiter will support our services by understanding local markets and the best way to recruit in the area.

  • Managing recruitment needs through the recruitment system and working closely with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and service specific requirements.
  • Use various methods to attract applications from a range of recruitment tools including job boards, social media campaigns, local community events and groups and other recruitment activity.
  • Be a brand champion and promote our opportunities with enthusiasm whilst ensuring candidates are aware of key expectations.
  • Respond to incoming recruitment enquiries by both telephone and email within tight timescales.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive recruitment experience for all candidates.
  • Work to achieve weekly interview targets and KPIs.
  • Collate and update recruitment data for accurate reporting.
  • Continuously drive recruitment across the business.
  • Act as a liaison for community groups and attend as required to support local engagement eg careers events, job centre attendance and job fairs.
  • Administration responsibilities associated with recruitment to ensure timely start dates.
  • When required, provide individual ad‑hoc support to hiring managers.
About You

You will have previously worked in recruitment, ideally within social care, and have drive to find candidates who meet the role requirements. You will be creative and enjoying visiting locations to promote working for Swanton and within social care.

Holding a valid UK driving licence is a requirement for this position.
