A health services organization in London has an exciting opportunity for a Recruit to Train Trainee Systemic Practitioner to join the Family Mental Health Team. This position is part of a government-funded initiative to develop the child mental health workforce. The role requires commitment to the CYP Psychological Training Programme and involves working directly with clients to improve familial support. The Family Mental Health Team (FMHT) has an exciting opportunity for a Recruit to Train Trainee Systemic Practitioner (conduct) to join our team as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programme (formerly CYP-IAPT).
Recruit to Train is a government‑funded initiative aiming to grow the child mental health workforce. NHSE covers salary and training costs for a 1‑year post, allowing services to employ trainees to aid in implementing new or expanding existing specialist pathways to bridge the gaps in CYP mental health support.
The post holder will participate in the 1‑year CYP Psychological Training Programme, prepared by King’s College London. The programme is not a standalone CYP MH training course; candidates must apply for both the University‑led course and the role.
