Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of service users, completing comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and recovery plans.
  • Deliver one-to-one keywork sessions and facilitate group-based interventions using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention).
  • Develop tailored recovery plans in collaboration with service users, aligned to their personal goals.
  • Liaise with external agencies, including health, social care, and criminal justice, ensuring coordinated and holistic support.
  • Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with policy and statutory guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using electronic case management systems.
  • Conduct outreach work as required, supporting engagement with hard-to-reach populations.
Key Requirements
  • Experience supporting individuals with substance misuse, mental health issues, or complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a trauma-informed, non-judgemental approach.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and harm reduction strategies.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification (desirable).
  • Experience in delivering group interventions (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with recovery models and structured treatment frameworks.
