Job summary

With You in Bournemouth is seeking a compassionate Recovery Worker to join the SPOC team. You will provide high-quality, person-centered support to individuals at the start of their treatment journey for drugs and/or alcohol, helping them access the right interventions and begin meaningful change in their lives.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours, Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays) with a starting salary of £26,250 rising to £30,900. Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with new service users entering the treatment pathway.
• Manage a dynamic caseload, providing ongoing support and monitoring progress.
• Develop and review person-centred care plans aligned with individual goals.
• Carry out risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
• Deliver harm reduction interventions, including within needle exchange services.
• Facilitate psychosocial group workshops to support engagement and resilience.
• Provide preparation and aftercare planning to support referrals into detox and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for seamless support.
